hiya guys, ok power steering pump not bein working properly, been tapping it to keep it working but its finally died :(
are they easy to replace? or is there a way of fixing it?i did my starter motor myself so i feel condident i can do the pump, any tips or things to watch for? maybe a guide?

Yes, its quite easy to get to and do. Think the hardest bit will be finding a good one that don't cost you £200!

Bit of a gamble with scrappy, but you'll probably be ok. Look for a motor that aint had a front ender and strip off yourself to be safe. Did you find a guide for doing it on here? Check out Haynes mate, think hardest bit would be bleeding....

hi mate just read your problem about your power steering pump, i've got one for sale i wrote my saxo off and it was a back end accident so the pump is in mint condition and working fine. PM me an offer if your intrested.

iv got one sat in my garage that works ;) off a 03 plate vtr, 25000 miles
