Citroen Saxo Owner's Handbook...

Hey guys,

Was looking thru my owners handbook the other day and noticed somthing abit werid.

On the front cover you have the picture of the car right?

Well on mine i do and its a red mk2 "VTS" (checked the badge and it says VTS)

Altho for some reason it has VTR wheels on......

I no the VERY early VTS's came with what we no as the VTR wheels but all mk2's surly came with what we no as VTS wheels.

Bit of a mistake from citroen lol

Same goes for the 206... the GTi 180's brochure shows the car with Phase 1 rear lights and some Phase 1 bits, but it's a Phase 2 car... generally because the prototypes and early development cars/photoshoot cars were made long, long ago, lol.

Personally I'd find something worth worrying about... :D

IIRC didn't the first group of Mk2 VTS's come with the VTR rims and the VTS rims were available from the following registration year (ie W reg had VTR rims - y onwards came with S rims)

Could be that citroen couldnt be bothered to change it just for the british market. european vts can be like 1.4 cant they so they might have only come with vtr rims??

As soon as the MK2 VTS came out, the new 15" wheels went with it so that's all VTS's from V (2000) onwards.

Suppose it is a misleading picture by Citroen.
