no not all all realy, on my old sax it was missing and it drove / ran fine

the reason for this question is........... when i got my car tuned i asked the bloke about the manifold cover and he said its recommened on because of the heat has to get to the air filter dosent ? ...... the bloke said if it dosent i will have to stop.......... plus the he said the carb will freeze up or something. ?

lol..... i was baffled the carb would freeze up............ i was thinking your joking arnt you.........
