Sorry for basic question but should this fit my 53 plate VTR? I asked the seller and they said no...surely it must do as its a MK2 bumper...

It'll fit... but it probably isn't a VT bumper.
It'll be from a flat arch, which looks different.

No, flat arch and VT kitted saxo's are different bumpers iirc.
