alarm

i think i have a problem with my alarm... the car i just baught has been damaged and i am repairing it slowly but the car had been stoof for 18 months before i baught it! i disconected the battery and i pulled the leeds out of the alarm. every time i lock the car with the battery conected (central locking) the alarm goes off and it wont stop. what is the problem ??
