how do you get the gloss effect on photoshop??
After you selected the wheel with lasso tool click on Image> Adjustments> Desaturate
Once the wheel is desaturated click on Image> Adjustments> Brightness/Contrast and play around with the settings.
For the photo-shop above I did -150 brightness and +100 contrast.
Hope that helps :)

yeh thats great..does that change the colour to black as well??
i lasso the wheel then fill it black on a new layer and fiddle around with the opacity and make it like 80% and then u see the wheel through it, then i delete the areas where the gaps in the alloy are, where u can see the disc brakes..
does that make sense?
