Morning,

The front two tyres on the front are getting pretty low - they are Maxxis ZA1 and I ain't overly impressed to be honest. When I got the car in January they looked new and I have done 7,000 miles and they are already near the limit.

I was going to put them on the back, but to be honest I think it's best i just get new ones. I need something that is a good hard wearing tyre, that will roughly last 15,000 miles I'd like.

So I was thinking thoughts on these.

Federal (http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/rshop.pl?details=Ordern&cart_id=73093106.110.10673&typ=D-103875&ranzahl=4&Breite=205&Quer=50&Felge=17&Speed=W&weiter=0&Ang_pro_Seite=50&Transport=P&F_F=&dsco=110&sowigan=So&Achse=)

Falken (http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/rshop.pl?details=Ordern&cart_id=73093106.110.10673&typ=R-125536&ranzahl=4&Breite=205&Quer=50&Felge=17&Speed=W&weiter=0&Ang_pro_Seite=50&Transport=P&F_F=&dsco=110&sowigan=So&Achse=)

These are the ones I have on now.

Maxxis. (http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/rshop.pl?details=Ordern&cart_id=73093106.110.10673&typ=R-131324&ranzahl=4&Breite=205&Quer=50&Felge=17&Speed=W&weiter=0&Ang_pro_Seite=50&Transport=P&F_F=&dsco=110&sowigan=So&Achse=)

Feedback please.

I have Falken's on my BM and they are spot on, hard wearing yet give you grip when you need it, another option would be Hanook Ventus they are a decent hard wearing tyre!

Hi,

I would swear by Federal, use to have them on my impreza, go for the 595's they are the best, loads of grip regardless of weather and last for a long time regardless of driving style.

My last set of 595's did 20,000 miles and I am known for pushing my car a little harder than the average boy racer.

tyresdelivered.co.uk do them for about £34 each and £6 postage so £80 for 2 is not bad. Just got to find someone willing to fit them...

Thanks

What size are your tyres? £34 is cheap that's all.

Is that 20,000 miles on the front or back or mixed?

---------

Well I have just been to garage, as I had to sort out this rust I have.

I asked him when the tyres were fitted, they were 19,542 miles and the car is on 28850 now so I reckon about 11-12,000s out of one set.

Hi,

I bought 4 Federal 595's. Did 20k on them, admittly I do a lot of motorway miles average 40k a year so saving me a fortune and I can still drive the way I like when I want to.

Thanks

For the Impreza or Saxo?

I have a 307 - so I'm running 17s.

Federal 595's are meant to be hard wearing but make lots of noise...

195/45/R15 are £34 delivered... camskill.co.uk which is cheap :)

I was going buy them but I decided on Yoko's.

I don't want noisy tyres either.

I have about £90 to spend on each tyre.

595s on TyresDelivered at £60.50 each - that's 205/50 R17s.

Good price?

What's the company like?
