Hi folks,
just a newbie - so hello !
Anyway my dad has an issue with his 1999 west coast - here goes -
1 - no hot air from heater and the temp warning light comes on after about 15 minutes. Car also splutters and coughs.
2 - bled the cooling system thinking it was an air block but when we reconnected it the air was hot but several minutes later the engine started coughing and spluttering and the air turned cold. Thick white smoke appearing from the exhaust.
3 - 6 months ago the cylinder head was fixed as this appeared to be the issue and a new radiator replaced.
perosnally I beleive the cylnder head was never repaired properly and needs doen again....am I right? :P
