hi, i've got a mk1 1.1 and im just wondering how many litres it would take to fill up the tank. i cant find it anywhere in the logbook so i decided to ask on here...
if any1 knows i would be grateful. also, do u know how many miles i could travel with a full tank? thats if i drive at reasonable revs..
lol, Carl.

My VTR was a 44lt tank.
I dont think it differs between models (1.1, furio, VT*) i think it differs mk1 and mk2. mk2 having the larger tank

Not that you should ever fill it up to the brim anyway..
Only half fill the car, or you're slugging around unecessary weight resulting in worse fuel consumption :)

thanks for the replies, well i now know that its around 45 lt for a full tank, how many miles do u reckon i should be able to get out of it if i drive normal without harsh breaking and acceleration.

Going by my 1.1 106... 550 miles+.
Every car varies though. Some rallye owners claim to do double my MPG, some half.

it's when you completly your petrol tank all the way to the top when the petrol hose starts clicking because you cant fit any more fuel in. :y:
Please note sarcasm.

A full tank in my saxo used to see me get about 300-330 miles.

Blady hell... what size tank has that got??
I filled up the Diesel the other day and it cost £68.75 and that was at 133.9p per litre.... surely Vpooer isn't that expensive, or surely your midsized hatch hasn't got a bigger tank than a coupe??
Chris :)

Maybe my reserve tank is larger than I thought..... f**king thing beeped at me and the range went in to a load of dashes (Range-----), so filled up. Maybe I've got about another 100 miles left once that has happened!?!?!?!
