MOMO Racer alloys query..Tyre sizes??

Hi all. I have got a Saxo Furio (Mk.2), fully standard. I bought a set of 14" MOMO RACER alloy wheels off Ebay. The seller assured me they would fit straight onto a Saxo with no need for any modifications or wheel spacers. There are no tyres on the alloys at present, so I need to know what size tyres to get fitted and if they will in fact be ok on my Saxo, without rubbing on the wheel arches or sticking out at the side of the car. Do any of you have a set of the same wheels? What size tyres do you have on them? The wheels are deeper than a standard wheel (about 80mm accross the insides of the rims.)
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, as I am a new Saxo owner.

more than likely 195/45/14 or 185/45/14 but you could get away with 195or185/40or45or50or55/14 if that makes any sense to you?

EDIT: Just to point out, i'm guessing completely here, just a set of reasonable sized 14" alloys for a Saxo will be around this.

I can't find the spec of these wheels anywhere on the 'net. The best I can do for a link is the one to the Ebay listing for these wheels. At least you can see what I bought, even if it doesn't give you much idea about tyre sizes, etc.

Forget abot the "80mm across the rims" bit! I don't know where that came from, but it's clearly wrong! LOL

if you wanted a decent tyre, i would probably say that toyo t1r's in 195/45/14 fitment will be up your alley.

these fit well on the standard vtr alloy, and i dont think this will be any narrower at all.

it will give you a slightly low profile look, and your car will sit about 5mm lower than it does at the moment, but they do the job very well.
