ive recently been getting problems when im changin gear i think my gearbox is on the way out!!

i was stopped to let a car past the other day and when changin down to 2nd it just simply wouldnt go all the way in!! so i tried sticking it into 1st and had the same problem. I couldnt go anywhere cos it took me a gd while to get it into gear!! ive been having this problem with my 2nd gear a lot and i'd thought my clutch was slipping but i've not long had a new clutch put in! do you think its my gearbox??

also i've been looking for a quick shift gearbox but cant seem to get a price from anywhere online can anyone give me an idea??

it will be your gear linkages mate and in order to get quick shift you do not need to change the box you can buy kits that adapt to the standard gearbox.

i had same problem its either the pin in the selector or gear linkages.

P.s. If you get a quickshift put on it will mean you can still get the gears but there is play on the gearstick as mine is like that at the moment.

I need to change the selectors when i get some money lol
