i had the number plate stuck on with velcro as i couldnt be assed to screw it on, the heat made the glue melt and it fell of lol
but i kinda like the look now i dont wanna put it back on!! a few police have just ignored it. is it really illegal?

yer the traffic dnt like it my mate had the same on his civic and got pulled and fined for it as it technically not vissible to speed cammeras. us numberplate stikies from helfroads or mount is some where else on bumper

If you stick it to the top left hand corner of the window you should get away with it. But although they look better gone, you need to get the plate recess smoothed out tbh or it looks a bit bodged

and steve if my knickers fell down (which they wouldnt cos knickers are for grannys and no one under 50 wears them!) i would pull them up straight away cos it ISNT a good look, unlike my number plate being off.

i had no front number plate for months, got pulled quite often but just blagged sayin my mate was makin me sum brackets for it lol, worked for ages, once they made me put it on and get a stamp from the garage to say that it had been put bk on. but they are clamping dwn on it now. and can giv u fines!!!

they giv u all the bullshit that it's for your benefit incase the car gets robbed, but surely the car is easier to spot if it hasn't got a number plate? one copper said it was alright to be kept in the window but others say it isn't, not to sure if it's it's legal or not?

i done the same when my car come out the bodyshop.. put it in front window.. marked police pulled me and warned me about it.. said we ent gona do anythink but if traffic pull you they may give you upto 3 points for it. Not sure how true it is like i thought max i could get is 30 pound fine but i know they have changed alot of laws recently regarding this. Like 3 strikes and you have to buy back your numberplate from DVLA.

It all depends on the copper as well.

I took mine off to clean behind it, realised it looked better without so left it off but put it in the window. Cops pulled me didnt like it in the window and made me put it back in, without no tools.

Do you mean a vinyl one? You can get relective vinyl mate.

Bumper looks weird having the recess for it and it not being there, get some strong double sided tape wacked on it.

its going back on today, im gonna find some very stong tape or velcro i hate screws they look shite, its just so hot i reckon it wil prob fall off again, useless.
