hi guys, think the drivers side CV joint is on its way out. making a knocking/clickin sound when i turn.
just wondoring. roughly how much is it for a new one?

also there is like gungey shit like slime all over my wheel from the CV joint, will i be ok to drive???

mine is in for same problem now. And handbrake cable had snapped
Think it's gonna be £60 for both problems to be sorted.
I'll let you no later tho should have back soooooon :)

has the boot around the cv joint come off? if it has re pack it and cable tie it back on, it could save it i suppose it depends on how severe the clicking is and if its just started

not u say that i took ma wheel off and put it back on n the clicking seemed to stop or not click as much....... but then it fell off again lol

yeah i had a problem with that, i think mines a smaller gaitor. if you cut the clip holding the smaller side off and pull it in abit. there will be a groove for it to go into but ive put mine just further in than that. also if it still keeps coming off i used a jubilee clip, not sure if ur supposed to but its never gonna come of with that holding it. ive just done this and found that it hasnt fixed the noise im getting. so im delving into more expensive parts for a solution and on one seems to know what mine is. hope it fixes yours.!

Labour £50
£80 + VAT = £95.18
so the CV isn't that bad on its own
