Well i sold my old vtr as i couldnt aford to insure run ect:

then brought a old golf till i had got some money together and could aford the insurance and petrol for a saxo. golf:

Sold the golf about 2 weeks ago and managed to sorce this little beast hidden at the back off the garage, was up for sale for £1995 but managed to get him down to £1850 which i thort was good.
comes with 12 months tax and 6 months mot,
Spec:
63k gen miles, with history
1999 Mark 2 engine!
Black Painted vtr wheels
Lowerd 60mm alround
oil, filter and cam belt change the day i pick it up! tomorrow after work!

Plans:
Strut brace - upper and lower
Exhaust - Supersprint mabey back to ashley!
drilled and grooved brakes all round inc green stuff pads.
and raceland induction with green filter!
Once ive settled down with it and got some money again ill be looking at cams or a 16v conversion!

The place i got it from is called VTRNOW! and they stock over 12 vtrs and a couple off vts's so if your looking for a saxo around this area then this is the place to go! was looking at a mark2 vtr with 80k and p plate being r55 5axo which looked pretty good! and a mint vts for around £1500

Not yet, ive sorced a vts engine but want it with some type off forced induction so will rebuild it all befor it goes in ;) But moneys very low so nothing will be happening yet :(

Well i have a vts engine coming from france, also have a old turbo kit to rebuild for it. but for the out side just going to get some dtm cup mirrors and the alloys refurbed in white with red lip. and mabey some black angel eyes for the front ;)

Finely finshed my wheels! there in white primer atm as they need redoing as they are flaking and have soem tiny reactions and i want them to be mint.. thats why i havent put my new tyres on.. also i no there is some overspray on the tyres and there is no tyre shine on :D

Also not sure what to do with my door cards.. can i get that interor sprayed and just spray over them? or will i have to get them flocked?

still waiting for 2 off the vtr wheels to be oven baked.. i used some type off chemical metal.. took fooking ages to rub down. but i tested one and try scratching it out but it dont come out FOR SHI*E!

To be honest i felt the same but i cant handle a track slag as the closest track is about 70miles away from me so cant really make a track ready car but i can try do a euro'ish type off car ;) just trying to tidy it up.

Been giving the seats a clean 1 at a time.. that look pretty much brand new now! SO YUMMY! the front seats match the rears now :D

Nar, The body kitted blue one is a vtr, all arches are crack and has had all panels smoothed but are cracking he only wanted 450 for it but i just didnt have the time to clean it up :(

NEW UPDATE!

New tsw wheels, 2 have 45mm pro and the new tir's have 50mm profile tyres so the front looks super high lol!

woke up this morning and see the sun out so i got my little bro to wash me car.. as you can see by the side skirt he isnt the best lol. but then again i brib him to do it :P

Only got a couple off pictures but i have a hidden engine i brought out off a crash damaged vts and its running 149.4bhp ;) with print out to prove. the only problem i have is i dont no what its got and what it hasnt. not sure on cam's ect.. :( but for 50quid and fit some brake pads it isnt bad ;) will be striping it and fully rebuilding it at college, may be running a cheap turbo set up but it all depends wether i get my new job ;)

Coil overs on this the only picture i have off it atm but also been photoshooped and hopinh yo have it like this but lower for santa pod fast car show.

Need to look at come quotes for the wheels being respray should cost me a nice penny :D need some standard mirrors.

Well! every one told me they were complately shocking and un-driveable but ibe got them set to -15mm with spax shocks and they are alot better than my -60mm springs and standard shocks, havent put them to 60mm yet as i only have it top or bottom. i love them as i can use them -15mm for day to day basic and have a pretty smooth ride or i can slam it to around 70+mm for shows and cruises..

Takes around 5 mins if you jack both side off the car up.. just unlock the locking ring then use your hands to turn them down..

Well i had custom springs and shocks made up when i 1st brought it from GAZ but i couldnt get into my college carpark and was going to have to pay fines for parking out on the road so i decised on coil-overs and run them as high as they can go for day-to-day useage but slam them for shows ect i have done 2 track days sinse i brought it but the 1st one didnt go to well at silverstone (TRAX) where i burst a brake pipe somehow so i had to fit braided ones, but went back for a beginer trackday and got on fine!

Was well chuffed!

Cheers people yeh the front part off the roof should be done befor tuesday really, it cost me 4quid from a sticker maker but i only got a meter in length and cut the sqaures out my self to be honest the roof isnt 100% perfect but for 4quid im happy.. going back with a big 2pounds to get some more to finsh it off lol!

People spend 45+ just for the vinyl for the roof.. i can get more if any one wants any.. but im not selling white to you if you own a black car :DSorry.

Cage is white santapod done with no problems atal! (VERY happy!), Citreon racing stickers on and pressed plates!

Shes a right dirty bitch at the moment but she will soon have a nice clean! some citreon racing and cage photos :) i forgot to give my sprayer the curly bits so they are still silver at the moment! :(

Which i am f**king happy with as its only got raceland induction kit with red filter and scorpion exhaust which has 3 silcencers!!! also had sub, faulse floor,parcel self, rear seats, 6x9's in... also crappy low tyres was spinning in 2nd most off it..

So next month i will be ordering a de-cat pipe and mabey some cams but i cant find out which engine mine is...

its a 1999 silver top mark 1 sure its 90bhp but i beat a mark 2 vtr with 47k on clock with superprint and raceland with green filter..

any one know what type off roller mine is? i was speaking to the dyno place at santapod and he was telling me that mine has a special ecu number but is a manufacters code or sumthing.. he wanted me to put it on the dyno as he watched me run 16's all day when no other vtr ran a 16second!

so tsws are sold also had some rs cosworth reps which are being sold so im starting to look for some dished wheels but have to keep it on the green 106 wheels lmao!

Update

Things are slowly coming together for fcs09, wheels are sprayed and now im just waiting for the new spacers and bolts! been just under a week and havent heard a thing :(

Bad point is that i have to run 2 off the painted tyres till i get paid as i didnt relise how expence proper spacers actaly were! also brought new bolts and lockers from tsw.

The wheels are not porshe wheels that are escort rs wheels, they are VERY wide! im running 195 tyres on them and they have a little stretch to them so i reckon i could run a 215 on them which is the plan for fcs09 depented on the prices off them in a 45 profile!

While it was a nice day and the car was already semi-clean i desicided to start some work on tidying/cleaning up the engine bay so i ripped a couple off caps and covers off and begain spraying with hi temp primer and then hammerrite hammer effect black! lovely colour!

Oil cap came up a treat and found some white paint in the shed to go over the little can on the cap :D some after spraying then when i painted the can:

Another update is that im speaking to a body shop about having my sunroof sheet welded and cover over then my whole roof sprayed in the same colour as the wheels, pealesent spear mint

So off i went to get the wheels balnced, only got the rear 2 done as i had the tyres changed, will be having all off them re done once i order the new tyres.

At the moment i am running 2 off the wheels i sprayed with the tyres on as i cant aford to get new tyres and i want 4 new tyres :( but should have 205's R888's on by fcs09 (Hopefully!)

The old 145 Tyres comparedd to the 205s lmao! corners how it should again now :D:

they are rs reps by tsw, 7 1/2 inch wide i think, they are ford fitment so 25mm spacers are needed and cheers ;)

well basicaly the plan was to get some hub adaptors for the porsh wheels i have and bang them on but it was a bastard to find wheel adaptors for the rims i have so i just desided to bang them on the ford ones lol, the ford wheels are going to be repsprayed white for fcs09 now, and have carbon blank badges for them ;)

Theres loads off threads about how the raceland coil overs dont go down 110mm but my back been measered buy one off them 'no liers ruler' that was in fast car and the rear was about 97mm which means about 100mm at rear but the front has a a/m bumper which makes the front abotu 110mm but arch gap is about 80mm..

The wheels are only 15's with stretched 195/45's but will be running 205/50/15 R888's for fcs09 hopfully!

personally I would stick with the 195/45...moving to the taller wheel will foul the arches. Yokohama ao48's come in the 45 profile I think

Round 1 on dyno!

well my car just went on the dyno had 5 runs for free ;) ran about 86.6 at wheels and 111.2hp at fly

Ill up load the graphs later heres a few pictures off the place and the car ;)

Cambridge regional college have opened there new dyno and i was the 1st student to go on it as im level 2 mechinic ;) loving it!! i will be sorting open days for car clubs soon tho! dont worry son it will be in the EA part pretty soon i hope ;) and its cheap!
