I'm looking to upgrade to hopefully BMC set up (maybe raceland)
I was wondering where would be best place to put cold air feed for BMC, i've seen people with them out of the mesh grill, how do you get it there?
Is it possible to take it under the rad, even though the air has to travel longer to get to the filter?
Or should i either cut out the slam panel, or attach to the old style air box?

Sorry for all the questions.
Thanks

ive got mine in ma front grill, pretty easy to do really jus flatten it a bit to get past the radiator then widen it again to put the cone in then your done. jus take your timedoing it, it does make a difference as well imo.

How do you mean flatten mate?
At the top, bottom or side of the rad?
Cheers

flatten the hose (not too much so its fucked mind) go over the top of the rad more towards the left hand side an then get to behind the grill and make it round again. theres a blak plastic lining to the left of the radiator its helpful jus top move this out of your way so tht you can get the jubilee clip onto the hose and around the cone. thts how i did mine mate. just get you bonnet open and have a play around and see how things fit together cos your hosing might be thinner or fatter than mine.lol
hope that helps!

Do you just take it all the way down past mani and rad to get to there?
Won't having a longer air pipe lead to it heating up?
I need to mesh that part of my bumper first, any ideas?
Thanks.

yer have simply move the filter halfway down with piping then used piping the otherside past mani, mani will be heatwrapped saoon and the piping is heat wrap to stop heat soak on it

stendog the air feed looks far better black than red, good choice in spraying it. :y:
