anyone been to one of the gigs this weekend? i went last night.
After arriving at the City of Madchester stadium at about 10am to make sure we were front row and waiting 5and a half hours till the gates opened then another hour till the first support came on (the redwalls, superb, 'obtain' some of their stuff asap) had a superb day though and when we got a bit rowdy it was well cool, my first gig in standing section, what the hell have i been doing not going in there!? The only negative sides were falling over(shit scary) and getting piss thrown by people! The Doves were superb as expected but Oasis were fucking classsmileys/happy.gif

Go and buy the new album, and the old ones... sell your granny to get to a gig this tour.... in a word

AWESOME!

Im going to see them on Wednesday. Saw them in Finsbury a couple of years ago - i know what you mean when you say its mad down the front!

Saw Doves earlier in the year and they were wicked!

well funny when the birds were on people shoulders everyone chanting, get your tits out for the lads!

there was a lot of weed around, and a few pilled up mancs but it all added to itsmileys/happy.gif

Loved it though, every minute, even getting home at nearly 2am and up for work at 630 smileys/smiley2.gif

my mate went - said it was a nitemare trying to get a pint cos of the queue, and wen u eventually did - pissing 3quid for it!

im going on wed! cant wait, smelling weed is a pretty standard thing at concerts! and so is the piss im afraid!lol!

i cant wait to see them! been one of my fave bands for ages, only been to a couple of concerts this year so far, this should hopefully make up for it!!!
