how do i get the front speakers out, it appears to have some kind of screws holding them in, i thort maybe a small torx head, but that doesnt seem to work... i tried prying them out with a screwdriver but that didnt make much difference... help please.

also the wiring for the back is like in the form of a plug, do i just cut the plug bit out, strip a bit of the wire of then wrap the metal bits round pos/neg holes of new speakers

there just cross screws mate!!
and yeah just cut the box thing and add the speaker ends! (well thats what i did)

they should be pop rivets, drill them out, use a drill bit just larger than the hole in the rivet and drill straight through. Just use some self tappers to reattach.
You can cut the plug or just crimp some small spade connectors on and plug them in and quick insulating tape round it. If you only have large spades then chop a bit off them with pliers.
