My girlfriend recently bought a MK2 2001 Saxo VTR, nice tidy car. Drove it 200miles down M1, no problems. Hit a delay, and the temp shot up!

Normal driving the temp stays around half, and when stationary it shoots up and the red light comes on. Am worried gonna F~~k the engine up.

I have looked into it, and the fan does not cut in at all! Anyone know the what part needs to be replaced? or where the fan sencing switch is located on a mk2???

Much apprecited if you can help
Johnny

Think u'll find they are different on the mk1 and 2. just bridge a live feed to the fan and see if it works, if it does then its the swith or something, if not its the motor.
