knocking noise and squeeling noise

[ry-vts-16v]

wen i go over bumps etc in my vts i can hear a knocking noise coming from the front of the car any ideas? the car has been lowered. checked suspension strut not that..........
also i can hear a squeeling noise wen i start my car up and turn the steering wheel. doesnt sound loud enough to be the fan belt. could it be the power steering? checked fluid and belt seems fine.

sure ur not hittin the zorst on floor or the zorst hitting the underside of the car???

as for squeeling i aint got a clue on that one!

mine squeel when cold. its really irritating. i dont think its steering related though as the noise doesn't change when i steer :S it goes when i rev though...
