The lass who brings me to work needs her Saxo servicing - it's overdue by about 1,000 miles and currently sat on 40,600.
What does it need?
I have offered to do it for her too, as she doesn't wanna pay full price at the garage so what would you charge?

Just do it for free and see what she offers you ;) just tell her to get the parts etc.
You need:
Plugs
Leads
Oil
Oil Filter
Air Filter (possibly, check to see how bad the old one is)

Need to spread the love Peejous :)
Erm...OK is that all I need then? What about fuel filter? I think she needs new wipers too.
Brakes etc were all changed on MOT back in April.

It depends on how much of a service your doing, if its just an engine service dont bother with fuel filter. Wipers arn't really a service lol just wear and tear. Try and find a mate with a trade card for Halfruads.
Done a service on the missus mom Ka the other week saved £48 just by using a trade card.

Can you apply for Trade Card at Halfords?
So just engine service then will do?

You kind of have to be in the motor industry.
Should be fine with an engine service (new oil and plugs)

That's what I'll do then.
Probably go to Pages if I can use my Saxp discount.
So how much to charge her compared to a normal garage?
Peejous

Normal garage would roughly charge around £90 for an engine service. If she gets the parts etc. cheaply then fair enough but just enquire first if it's cheaper to get the parts and do it yourself, or put it into a garage.

I can get all of that for about £40 - I did when getting it all for my VTR.
So rough guide on that?
Peejous

Well then its cheaper obviously for you to do it.
Oil alone is roughly £15 - £20.
Just charge her like £20 or something.

Yeah, I was thinking £20 is sufficent.

The 1.1 dont use coilpacks.
If it's a MK2 1.1 it should have a coil pack matey. :)
