Engine Auto Diagnosis Light

Guys this light came on my car yday its runing ok put the light is still on left it parked up for 3hrs then started it again and its still on? any ideas what could be wrong?

Have a diagnostic check done about £15, better than guessing and going on what others say.

It could be anything, might be picking up a fault that has just started happening which isnt noticeable yet. I had with my engine management light but mine was going on and off randomly turned out to be the lambda.

Just to add mines has a de-cat and i was out in that heavy storm the other nite and ended up having to swim through a puddle :n: cus this have caused a problem

hard to say possibly water may have got in the exhaust or messed up a sensor.

Just get it on a diagnostic machine and will tell u what it is usually.
