when druivin in secoind i out my pedal down fully and all i get is that its just revving really looud as if i have got my clutch down. cant even go fast any more :( as soon as it gets over 30 in second theres just not any speed coming out of it lol. does it in all the gears but cant notice it to much in first.

anyone have any idea on what it is? cheers

Clutch slip, try the stall test.

Put the car in 3rd gear with the handbrake on and try to pull away, if the car stays still with the clutch fully out and the engine still revving the cluth assembly needs replacing.

just tryed that mate.it stalls as soon as i get my foot off the clutch. so anooyed. i reckon it might be somthing to do with the throttle wire/cable. as when its fully throttled (when off i tested) the cable is really loose.n i mean really loose lol. so annoyed

is your clutch biting point right at the top if you know wat i mean.... you will probably find your clutch is slipping and is time to slap a new one in :)

yahhh!!! the biting point is really high lol. liek all the way at the top lol. o k cheers for comments. new bloody clutch then lol
