im thinking about buying a new exhaust system. mines a 2000 vtr. if i bought a sports cat pipe would it still pass an mot. I know that if i buy a decat pipe it wont but ive heard sport ones still have a cat in them. is it true

yes will pass with a sports cat ... but to be honest id much prefer to have a decat... sounds so much better a cat is a cat at the end of the day its obviously restrictive... i would get a supersprint race section and keep your old cat etc and just change it at mot time.... only 2 bolts and 1 clamp

I've been told by a garage Mk2 saxo's can't have sports cats?....

they can i think..... i dont see no reason why they cant... it may be because of the oil filter placement but if it was in the way then it would just need re-locating

janspeed do a sports cat, my m8 had 1 on his 106 quiksilver and from what i saw its exactly the same fitment

if you have a the cat in the mani fold then you will have to get a new a mani and then get a cat that goes under the car
