hello people, new to the site i havent got a saxo yet! im after a vtr as my fiesta rs turbo has to go due to a baby on the way so im after a slower car and think that a vtr will do the job just nice. So any help with what to look out for and any people selling decent vtrs let me know.

If a kid is on the way, I wouldn't have thought a small saxo is the way to go in all honesty.

Yeah dont worry a child is small and will defo fit in the rear seat and if the push chair dont fit the baby best learn to walk pretty quick. Ill try get some pics of the fiesta turbo up soon.

Go for something practical tbh, Mk4 golf (1.4/1.6) imo :)

If i were you, i'd go for either a golf mk4 as said above (sturdy build quality/peace of mind). Or a 306. Can get them in 5 doors, decent range of engines from Diesel, to frugal petrol jobbies, to the nippy GTi-6...and generally a bigger car to carry all that baby stuff in...

thanks for all the replys i already have a 306 lol so im also getting rid of that. I do see your ponits but i have an urge to buy a vtr so ive got to go for it, baby or not lol. how many posts must i make before i can see the for sale section?

nice one i just seen the thread as to why, crap really i do see the point but why not just not let newbies in the wanted section. oh well rules are rules and i dont think ill make 100 posts in time as i need to buy a car this week. Shame really how can post in a saxo comunity without a saxo. Theres always one that spoils it for the rest off us.

I know what you mean, this is my second fiesta rs and ive had two escorts rs's before. I just cant be doing with fixing them on a weekly basis and the running costs are far to high. Good fun to drive though id keep it if the mrs would let me get away with it, but thats not going to happen
