ive been offered a good turbo diesel audi a4 for cheap.. however the car has some quarter panel damage.. doesnt affect how the car drives just looks bad... would the car fail an mot test because of this?

i think... body work wise.. aslong as there is no sharp edges its ok.

as long as there is no metal sticking out that can be dangerous then it should not have any effect.

The bodywork won't fail an mot, will only fail if it has done mechanical damage that is dangeros to the car

Bodywork shudnt as long as there no sharp edges or defects to it that can harm someone

Won't fail MOT unless it causes some kind of potential risk to the public/pedestrians. If it just looks shit, they won't fail you on that.

get a pic up but damage to body should be ok as long as the panels not hanging off
