My water/antifreeze looks a brown colour so im guessing the previous owners havent changed it in a while, so anyone got any ideas how to change it or isnt it as simple as an oil change? thanks

easy mate just take bottom hose off let it drain out refil but open the 3 bleed nipples
1.top of rad
2.temp sensor
3.heater hose(looks like a dust cap)
have it running when you fill it back up

thanks guys ill give it a go soon , ill dig up my old haynes manual to see if thats got any tips aswell - wheres the max mark btw, thers just a line about half way up the tank is that it (its a mk1 vtr )

yeah thats it mate,just keep an eye on it when its running as it might drink a bit when you first start it

i just sucked it up through a hose aslong as you hold the end of the hose below the car it will drain out not all of it though thats what i did when i changed it didnt need to bleed nothing eitha
