Yep it feels alot bigger than the saxo tbh.. but feels like theres more acceleration with it.. but I have no idea tbh..

Drove all way to nuneaton and couldnt find how to turn my lights on... opps was panacking a lil bit but then my mate found the dial you turn on the right side the steering wheel.. very odd tbh!!

Brakes a much better, ABS and nearly twice the size compared to the saxo!

And the ZS gets about 320-360 on a full tank! Think it works out at about 35MPG, or 40MPG when you drive like a complete grandad! :P

Nar they only came in MK6.5 with a new dialset, MK6 doesn't have that gadget! But I like not knowing its drinking petrol, lol!

Well erm im not sure what to make of this but here goes :p

Filled the car right up from the red on saturday night! cost £42 , pretttty good going as the last time I filled the saxo it cost £50!

Anyways 306 miles later the red light comes on!!!

This is a mixture of about 140 motorway miles, the rest are town miles, busy traffic and general driving!!

Not sure if thats good or bad ???

I saw 330 the otherday with country driving, mainly town driving and quite abit of overtaking (sodding trackt0rs) so unless you have a very heavy foot that needs improving! :P

I hate town driving im shit at knowing what gear I should be in and speed off before stopping again ect ect. Stop start all way home and stuff!!

Well I try and brakes with the gears, as it doesnt cost anything in petrol and save the pads/disc in the long run!

Heres a run down of the gears I use (Sad I know)

Set off: 1st
10mph 2nd
20mph 3rd
30mph 4th
40mph+ 5th

Try not letting the revs drop below about 1600 in any gear as when it struggles it uses more petrol than when its moving properly!

If your on the motorway try and keep a constant speed, Im a good boy and actualy stick at around 60/70mph.

Town driving don't stop, drive, stop, drive etc - anticipate the traffic and crawl in first or don't move at all.

Right Its payday friday!!! Woop so what can I do to the car before trax...

Well not a lot tbh.. Fancy doing something with my rear badges.. or removing them all together as someone has suggested.. Think I may just spray them a different colour and get the S bagde fitted!

Also been looking at the ST Bump strips, these are slightly more rounded and thicker than the standard ZS bumpstips .. but is there really any point if Im considering colour coding it?

Yeh, had a close up on the wheels yesterday, not sure how the red rim would work because of the spokes moulding into it.. and the whole "rim" bit is quite common aswell amongst the modding scene atm!

Say it's 40 litres for arguments sake - chances are you'll have nearly 5 litres in when light comes on - it is about 32.8MPG.

Fiesta's are shit on fuel, i get 32mpg on average and thats town driving and foot down driving, no fannying about.

Our Fiesta coutesy cars at work are brand new 1.25's and they do about 100 ish miles to 15 quid. And they are slowww as fook.

Pretty amazing the fuel consumption comparing a 2.0 cliosport to a 1.25 fiesta.

Agree with Hopcraft....1.25 is not a good engine for the Fiestas as it's too much weight for the engine.

Think its a Ford thing tbh. I get 320 miles out of a tank full on the Focus which is a 1.8. Tank costs £60 to fill, not sure on the actual size. Drops to around 300 miles with the foot down a bit

Thats why I got rid....now costs me £6 extra for the diesel and I can get nearly 600 miles so I can't complain.

I have the car booked in to be repaired.. I say repaired the front bumper has a crack and needs a new bracket! Also hoping to get the bump strips done when a take it down to be resprayed!

I have also ordered some lovely Springs for it to then be booked into be lowered :y:

Gonna keep it for this year.. see what winter brings!
