another problem

hey all,
got a bit of a problem with my new gear gaiter.
ive got it on but it dosent have the slits going round the bottom of it where as the standard one does so it wont go on to the black standard surround.
when i put it on the surround and then try and clip it on the gaiter is covering the plastic ends on the surround so wont clip down and now when i change gear it just keeps coming up at the bottom.

why don't you just cut sum holes into it?

never really thought of doing that, will put some slits in it and see what its like.

put some slits in it mate and put the old standard surround on, fitted it in car, changed the gears and spot in, sorted.
