I'm sitting my driving test on Monday, and the requirements for taking the test in your own car are than no warning lights are showing. My airbag light flashes for 5 minutes then stays lit. In the manual it tells me to consult my dealer, but i dont have the time for that so can anybody tell me how to fix this, or how to disconnect the wire to stop it coming on alltogether?

Is it coming on randomly and after you turn engine off then back on it goes away?

I would say its 1 of your connections under the seat just clean them out and connected properly.

^ As Above under your seat can be a hassle to fix as once you move your seat can come back. bit of black tape over the light should sort it for the test :D

bulbs?
wtf you on they're not bulbs they're LED's

just take the dial apart and put some black tape over the bit that says 'air bag' on the dial bit

my steering wheel doesnt have an airbag, so thats what i did to stop it coming on

fiddle with the wires under both front seats, most common problem

check the connection at the orange boxes in the following places

under your seat, under the ignition surround and under the dash below the glove box.

mine was the one under the ignition surround.
