My CV joint gaitor has come off, the clip has snapped.

Oil'y shit everywhere tbh including on my nose.

I've took wheel off and had a look. i've pushed the gaiter back on but the clip is broke.. will i be able to cable tie it? Will it be alright cable tied?

Also quite a bit of oil'y shit has come out, will i need to top it back up? Where do i get it from, like grease and where do i put it back in lol.

Yeah a cable tie should hold it mate, although because youve lost some CV grease, you ideally need to get a new CV boot kit (about £6-8 at a motor factors), which will come with a new clip that you could use instead of a cable tie, it will also come with a pack of CV gease, which you just cut the corner off and pack it into the boot before resecuring it. You will also then with the kit have a CV boot spare if yours was to split in the future.

Hope this helps mate
