Bit of a rant here. Basically last night I was in my car with Kev999_VTR (he was in his car) and a couple of our mates. We were heading off to get something to eat minding our own business when 4 muppets in an old ford escort raced up behind me and overtook giving all the signs and stuff out the window. We were coming up to the turning into Tescos and these guys decided to overtake Kev. He already signalled he was turning right and forced this idiot into having to make the same turn this guy race on down the delivery lane on Tescos which was now shut, so it became a dead end.

So me and Kev boxed him in and one of my mates who was with me in the car is a copper, these guys immediately start shouting stuff at us so my mate pulled out his badge. Their car when totally dead silent. Bloody hilarious, the only thing this guy could say was "urm, urm...is that a VTS?". My mate had a go and them and then we drove off and parked. They followed us in and started saying that they wanted a proper race and giving it large. Eventually we just walked off laughing about it. Why on earth do people act like this? Don't understand it.

Anyways rant over

Its quite funny how Saxo drivers seem to get this the worst, seriously. The other day I saw a VTS, standard but with lexus-lights slowly rounding a roundabout, the guy was taking it easy and minding his own business, when a modded mk2 Golf GTi, who was waiting at the same roundabout, spotted him, revved his nasty zorst like a crazy man and took off after the saxo, sticking itself up his arse but the poor Saxo chap didn't want any part of it.

They automatically assume the saxo driver is going to be up for a bit of high-street racing, which isn't usually the case. I find Golf and Corsa drivers are usually really hot-blooded about this stuff, amazes me.

One of the reasons i am trying to keep mine standard.

If it's 100% standard.... and you have your seat flapped all the way back.... that'll be something for them to drop a gear for ;)

TBH We need more sleepers.

Had a c*nt in a MG ZR today up my arse, break lights ftw, soon backed off, although on a dual carridge way it does get a little fun when he trys to "blast" past you, and you "accidently" put your foot down... then back into single lane and the fun starts all over again....

I get a right load of hassle, and I'm convinced its cos I drive a Sax.

I notice it most on the A1. Lots of Audi and BMW drivers get right up my backside if I'm in the overtaking lane, even when they couldn't go any fastr cos of traffic.

More newer Audis than anything else, I'd say.

I'm starting to really dislike Audi drivers now......

Just got in- neighbour a few doors down has just gone and brought a modified 1991 Nissan Pulsar GTi-R, I happened to be behind him and without warning he booted it passed the driver in front, narrowly missing traffic by inches. I've seen him eyeing up my Type-R and he obviously has something to prove.

I followed him into Burger King (he works there) and congratulated him on his risky driving.

'That overtake was a bit scetchy I know,' he grins, 'but she is running 350bhp so its all good.'

What a silly muppet, will have to post a pic of his Pulsar next to my Type-R soon. I know I can always find him in Burger King car park lol.
