Its been a while since I've been on here now, mainly as I had got to the point when other things had taken my time and interest to be honest away from my VTS (sad but true)

The S has now been gone for nearly a month now so I thought Id post some pic's up just as a finial good bye really.

So here we go...

These where the first pic's on the Sat morning the day after I had picked her up

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i277/turpin2000ad/SaxoVTS16v1.jpg

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i277/turpin2000ad/SaxoVTS16v2.jpg

First thing I done really was colour code the outer section of the grill, cheap DIY mod

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i277/turpin2000ad/SaxoVTS16v4.jpg

Full Janspeed 4-2-1 manifold, sport cat, cat back exhaust soon followed with some engine painting and a Green scoop filter...

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i277/turpin2000ad/SaxoVTS16v10.jpg

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i277/turpin2000ad/SaxoVTS16v8.jpg

Not long after the Dimma Grill came ;) Nice

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i277/turpin2000ad/SaxoVTS16v16.jpg

So did the Black headlights, still stand by one of the best mods for a Phase2 imo

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i277/turpin2000ad/SaxoVTS16v17.jpg

Soon complimented by classy Ultra smoked rears

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i277/turpin2000ad/SaxoVTS16v18-1.jpg

chnage of filter to an open to get some induction roar and a Omp upper brace

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i277/turpin2000ad/SaxoVTS16v20.jpg

After that the rallye slag bug bit and bits started to come out mainly interior bits to great effect on performance imo

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i277/turpin2000ad/SaxoVTS16v29.jpg

Group N style custom back box with a change in manifold to Piper 4-1 with a straight through centre - can you say Raspy :y:

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i277/turpin2000ad/SaxoVTS16v32.jpg

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i277/turpin2000ad/SaxoVTS16v30.jpg

The car always sat to hight at the rear, that was soon sorted with 35mm Pi full kit, lower Omp brace, poly bushes all round, Group A rear anti roll bar and rear lowered to match

Before lowering

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i277/turpin2000ad/SaxoVTS16v36BeforeLoweringRear.jpg

After lowering

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i277/turpin2000ad/SaxoVTS16v37AfterLoweringRear.jpg

The car was lowered on the Friday, these where taken on the Sat morning after only about 100miles

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i277/turpin2000ad/SaxoVTS16v43.jpg

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i277/turpin2000ad/SaxoVTS16v44.jpg

The Cituning spoiler was added a month or so before it was lowered and was a love hate relationship all the way till the car left.

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i277/turpin2000ad/SaxoVTS16v47.jpg

Series 1 Rallye steelies soon followed, always had mixed views on these but I loved em and the car was all the better for them in terms of handling and acceleration imo

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i277/turpin2000ad/SaxoVTS16v50onRallyeRims2.jpg

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i277/turpin2000ad/SaxoVTS16v51onRallyeRims3.jpg

Carpet was next on the hit list, so out that came

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i277/turpin2000ad/SaxoVTS16v55NoCarpet2.jpg

Momo bucket for my side as the missis wasn't so keen on the feel of the buckets

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i277/turpin2000ad/SaxoVTS16v57MomoSeatHarness.jpg

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i277/turpin2000ad/SaxoVTS16v59StrippedInterior.jpg

Second car allowed me to remove passanger seat, so out that came, plastic replaced door cards all round

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i277/turpin2000ad/SaxoVTS16v68RearDoorCards.jpg

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i277/turpin2000ad/SaxoVTS16v67FrontDoorCards.jpg

OE grill went back in

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i277/turpin2000ad/SaxoVTS16v65StandardGrillrefitted1.jpg

Then a set of Blue mudflaps went on

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i277/turpin2000ad/SaxoVTS16v70.jpg

I then decide enough time had been spent on the S so I put down some Red carpet...

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i277/turpin2000ad/SaxoVTS16v85Interior1.jpg

and thats all she wrote really, I'm not sure she went to the best of homes after me but you can't always pick the people you sell your cars to no matter how much you might want.

It was a bumpy 3yrs+ but it was probally one of the most fun fwd drive cars I've ever owned and I was really bummed when she'd gone but onwards and upwards they say.

Id just like to say a very big thank you to everybody on Saxp for all the help over the years and I look forward to popping back in every once in a while and hopefully helping people out like I was helped out.
