£43.17p Diesel last week at Morrisons Kilmarnock, pump cut out before I could get it to £50.
And that was a 1.6 Ford Fusion TDCI ZETEC.

Is it actually true that if you try and overfil your tank the pump will actually stop?

Usually when the trigger 'pops' in, is because of an air lock in the pipe
As for the stopping overfilling, i've received wet feet on numerous occassions
betty02
20th August 2008, 11:04
Is that why it pops? i thought it pops when you push the trigger down to much?

i always fill mine right up.. so it pops when its full, then i try again till it pops again. then i know its ful.
never recieved a wet foot though....hmmm mayb its a french thing?
also it was about £75 at one point. (i think i have a 60 ltr tank)

Was working down your way last week, found one place that was still around the 125 mark in some village
Im on diesel at the moment driving a van, and the company pays for it so im enjoying the high prices on my reward cards etc.
Esso do vouchers, 1 per £15 on fuel, collect 25 and you get a fiver, doesnt sound a lot but im not paying for the fuel so free money ;)
Though im sure ill easily use a tank of petrol this weekend because its the first chance i get to drive my new VTR :P
