I had swapped over to a mark1 oil filter setting for a raceland. I have now just put standard manifold back on for the MOT which meant I had to change oil filter back.

Problem is, I cant undo the black filter housing to change the filter. Does anyone know if there is a special way to open it? I have just been using a 27mm socket and turning it anticlockwise. Well trying to turn it, but it wont budge at all. Even had a huge breaker bar on it, and it wouldnt move.

Any ideas? Please, I'm desperate!!

You cant poke a screw driver through these ones on mark 2's!!!

The oil filter on mark 2's is a paper element enclosed in a black plastic bellhousing thingy. I have to undo the black thing to replace filter and then screw it back on again!
