saxo mk1 lowering and wheels !!

right basically im just wondering if my mk1 saxo vtr will take 17"s and how much i can lower it by after i fit the 17"s ???

I had 17s on my mk1 westcoast when i first got it. I hated it, looked like a tractor and scrubbed constantly!! You would have to get some sort of wheel arch work if you wanted lowering with 17s!!

I changed to 16s and lowered 30mm and it sat nicely. Still scrubbed a bit, but only on full lock and no where near as bad as 17s!!

Yeah 17s are a bit too big imo and they will rub if you lower it
