I recently fixed a water leak that was coming through the sunroof of my car. But just before i fixed it the dash lights and side lights on my car come on when i brake. I assume that water has got into the electrics sumwer and is wat is causing this. Anybody got ne ideas how to fix this??

You could use a hair dryer and go over all your fusebox, this should dry it out and possibly sort the problem!

Are you sure the windscreen seal hasn`t perished check that 1st if there is no water in the
electrics then check the engine earth strap.

I think yous are right, prob is the fuse box. I got a haynes manual and it shows the fusebox layout. The fuse (F12) for the front side lights, rh tail light, lights on buzzer, and illumination is located beside the fuse for the instrument panel and the fuse for the brake lights. I put a new F12 fuse in and when i hit the brakes, it blew it. I take it that water has messed it up, but i cant really have a gud look at the fusebox where it is, is it possible to take it out?? ( its the fusebox in the passenger side footwell)

Finally i have sorted it out! I took all the fuses out of the fuse box then removed the plastic cover and stuck the hairdryer on it for 10mins. Wether it was still damp or ther was a bit of rust making the contact between the fuses, the hairdryer sorted it out. Cheers peeps! :A:
