car stereo

I posted this question on yahoo answers ages back and all I got was crap answers

I want to safely link two car stereo`s together, I currently have a Sanyo mini-disc player in my Saxo, but I want to also re-fit the original C.D. player back into the car, finding some way of powering both and being able to switch from one to the other without blowing te speakers, please help, any good website links or information

im all most certain you can buy a lead that goes between the iso lead and head unit that will split it into 2 but you would wtill have to put a switch on the ignition live wire to switch between the 2
