its not idleing quite right. seems to dip slightly then pick up revs again and making a grinding noise when driving. been told its the gear box:n:

ahh mine int either but i just cleaned idle control valve out and throttle body today with some carb cleaner seems to of done something, had diagnostics done at motortek but they couldnt find anything wrong, my gearbox is about t pop

yea just abit of carb cleaner in throttle body and rite in the hole where plunger from ICV worked rite good for me, throttle response is loads better.

seals slightly bust is leaking oil, bloke at motosave explained what exactly was wrong said around £150-£200 to recon it, slips out of gear quite alot aswel but i think thats linkages :S

thats a lot cheaper that what ive been quoted. most places said £350 plus for mine to be fully refurbed. might go motosave but not overly keen on them anymore. didnt tighten wheel nuts up correctly on my corsa and wheel feel off :n:

not yet mate. like you say its only when its idleing. more interested in replacing the gearbox before it goes completely lol.

was thinking about the rallye box but im allways on the motorway and this is surposed to be my senibleish car anyway lol

yeh there fast enough as they are (for now :D) just gna have to get used to this saxo handling get it uprated abit... been lowered 50 all round on bilstein shocks and dampers with lower strut brace still needs more doin to it, had arse rite out twice today, one at racecourse roundabout, actually was nearly fully sideways all way round (by accident) but managed not to die :)

no its quite good actually :S id do that off a fiver i rekon mate... thats wrong, erm i put a tenner in usually and get around 60-70mile thats wi bootin it aswel, put 15 in today did 86 wasted half of that though, that dunt sound rite at all tho mate, id get it looked at/

lol garage that last serviced it said oxygen sensor was fucked. when i tried it on that tenner i never got out car lol. gonna fill it up and c how many miles i get:panic:
