Well just graduated today :P just done a full day at local race track on training day. mastered the heel toe technique :P anyone else been on one of these?

have practised it on gravel in a 1.4 fiesta its not the easiest to master but im used to it,dont realy use it though!

Its suppose to reduce wear on ya transmition but its hard to put it into practice

Ive tried it once, nearly put myself through the front windscreen, not used to it at all lol

i went in a rally car today not driving just to go round and the craig the guy who was driving was braking with his left and accelerating with his right, amazing ive tried left foot braking and realy went thorugh windscreen aswel, ha!

Left foot braking is fooking scary.
Especially in a car like mine with no ABS.

well one last season then up to gear karting if a win a few seasons on tht hopfully ill get noticed and get upped into something like formular ford

Yes mate. How do you apply for a race license and what do you need to do? Pay for? Just curious really.

aska local track if they do training, then you need to apply for a starter pack from the motor sports association before trying. thats what i was told but i couldnt afford to run a race car.

you do the test by ARDS (the association of racing drivers schools) once you pass that, Btw cost me £260 for the test thats with a track car ect ect, I also got a free medical included in the prics. then once you pass that you send ya certificate off to the msa (motor sports association) and they send you your license i thnk they charge you £60 for that not sure. But as for a race car im hoping to use a vts, not buying a stock racer im haveing one made ( summer project)

if i use a saxo once i get onto the am circuit then ill be able to plaster it with sax-p stickers :P

I'd love to get into something like this! Sounds awesome mate, might actually have a serious think about doing one in the future.

I used to left foot brake a bit, you get used to it pretty quick if you keep at it. Stopped when I lost it on a roundabout. Would probs go though windscreen if tried again.

i just had a morning lesson today which was part of the package. But apart from that just my karting experience got me thorugh it.
