hello,
got stopped by the old bill last night on my way home from my mates.
reason was: "routine check"
the copper checked all my tires, looked underneath the car, radioed for my insurance etc. Then he started telling me i had to open my boot and wanted to check my glove before shining a light in through and trying to see under the seats.
1. surely they have to have a decent reason to stop you?
2. does he need a warrant to look in my boot/glovebox?
my old man reckons he was out of order and that i should complain. not that i would because it wouldnt make a difference.
just wondered if they can just do that??
