Hi Everyone,
I am sure I will get an answer for this as A few of your might have been threw the same problem.
Anyways A lad lives A few doors away from me sisters house and he was banned from driving and his bann should be lifted in A week or so but it doesn't end there.
Even though the bann will end he still has over about 12 points but I dont mean way over I mean slightly (but he doesn't know). He came to me just to ask if he took his practical test and theory test again would they revok his license again or what? As his license was revoked.
Any help would be great
Thanks

he will have a tt99 code if he has lost his license for totting up points if it was a drink drive then a dr10
you cant have points on a license that doesnt exist.
needs to re apply for his license and then it will come back with the relevant codes but no points

he should still have the points i would of thought
i know someone who had 16 points on there license
and you can get points without a license, well you used to be able to, my mate at 14 was banned for 3 years and given 9 points for drink driving

you cant get points if you banned, or if you had them before you was banned you will not have them when you get your license back, you will have the code

sounds like he been in some trouble in the past like me :( if it was revoked for points then he will just have a tt99 and the codes of the offences to cause the points, he wont get any points.
tell him to go to the police station and get a warrant check on him as i was in the same situation and i re-passed my test after i had a year ban, to find out i still had an outstanding warrant which hadnt been dealt with.
i went to court and they took into consideration i had re-passed my test and they back dated it to the offence date but i still had to send my license off to be endorsed with the code(not the points) was quite lucky they were in a good mood otherwise i would of been looking at another ban
i racked up a few points before my ban and now have a license with no points but couple of codes
