hey guys

just to identify another problem:
when i was coming down from sidewalk, or something similar, i could hear the springs popping. at first i thought it was normal, but it became more and more frequent. i then took the car to see the wheels geometry, and when they lifted the car, they grabbed the wheel and turned it left and right (like me with the steering wheel), and i could see the springs tightening and loosening. the guy said that i need to replace the bearings as soon as possible.
i went to the store and bought 2 bearings (one for each suspension arm), and it costed me around 15 quid (together).
it took me around 45 minutes per wheel, but i needed to replace it because the wheel would block itself (for example, when i was turning right on the lights, the spring set itself that right is the way it should stand, and my wheel was turning right all the time, till i hit some holes to straighten the wheel)
that was the Macphearson bearing that i've replaced, and i've bought SKF ones that are stronger then citroen original ones

45 min a side for a strut bearing thats quick. i didnt think that a fucked strut bearing would cause the spring to pop. i though it would make the steering not return to the centre and the car will want to keep going in the direction the wheels were turned. dont take the comment about the 45 min personally i was just curious as to how you done it that quick

i've got all the tools, and + a friend of mine who is a car mechanic helped me with telling what to do.
like i said, 45 per side, 1 hour max (but it was 45, i'm sure)

about that returning to center, that's what i also said

its just i thought that 45 min was quick for one person. never done springs on a saxo. done some on a citroen relay van at work dont know if you have heard of them in croatia

what exactly do you mean? we've heard of many things, but the problem is the language barrier.
how do you explain something to me, like some expert terms?

i meant no offense. a citroen relay is a medium sized van. sort of like a ford transit i was just saying that i had only changed springs on a van and not on a car
