how to remove the door window

hi just wondering does anyone know how to remove the drivers window and passengers window. need help asap thanx

hello m8 well what your hoping to hear is that its a piece of piss... your in luck it is, ive done it alot from tinting windows. mnes a mk2 and this is how, duno about mk1s,

Remove torx 20 screw from door handle, and another one just below wing mirror cover

Then the rest of the door card is just held on by clips, pull on door card and it will just pop off

Remove the metal bracket in the middle of the door which is torx 20 again

Remove all the soundproofing crap and get it out the way

Then mov window up or down until you can see a plastic square on the window runner attatched to window. (in the centre of the door)

Stick your hand inside the door and rotate the clip so its now a diamond shape instead of square

Pull clip off the back and the window will still be attatched dont worry it wont fall.

Push bottom of window out where the hole is and the plastic is holding it on.

Then while doing this operate window down so the window is now free and you can take it out. to get the back of the window out the runner just tilt window forward and orce it. the clips always break so just buy some befroe from citroen, cost bout a quid for 2. When putting back in just make sure window is in runneres fornt and back.
