Time to get my progress thread rolling..

Only done a few mods so far but plans still evolving :cool:

What I've done;
- Lowered the front suspension by 40mm. with Spax springs. Still trying to find time to do the torsion bars. Think the front drop was a bit too modest tbo.. :wall:
- Ibiza front splitter fitted to the rear bumper and meshed.
- Piper Exhaust stainless steel back box 4" slash cut.
- Pipercross induction kit.
- Citroen sun strip.
- Colour coded dash white.

Further plans;
- Lower the back of course.
- Move the back box about 40mm. further back to give more clearance for the bumper.
- 16" TecnoMagnesio white 6-spoke wheels. Getting ordered this week.
- Colour code the ibiza splitter.
- Colour code front bumper.
- Window tinting.
- Smoked tail lights.
- Maybe some new headlamps or just HID conversion/xenon bulbs.
- New grille or mod the original one.

This what it looked like before I started fiddling with it:

Can't get no sleep (again) :wall: so might aswell post a little update..

I'm going to fit 6,5" speakers to the door panels. Started with taking off the original grille and filling up the entire hole with insulation foam spray. Then cut off the excess leaving a relatively plain surface to start with. Made a new hole for the speaker and started shaping the surroundings with fiber glass filler. Did two rounds of filling and sanding last night. Gonna do some more to get it totally smooth.

Small update.. Modded the original grill the other day. Quite happy with the result. Wondering if I should colour code it though..

Used an soldering iron to melt the mesh into the plastic, worked fantastic.. no glue!
