You can pick up the newer shape 3 series from an s reg upwards
Is he looking for a coupe or 4 door saloon?
Danr

He should go for either a top spec e36 or poverty spec e46. Depends what he wants it for really. Obviously for looks the e46 is going to look better. E36 could be ramoed with extra's.
318is, e36 would be a good shout. They are about 140bhp and have the extra's.

Narr Dan you want a 320 at least 6 cyclinder gives the smooth drive, better power delivery.
Coupe models are more expensive then a 4 door saloon

That's a fair point but for insurance issues etc. I've always heard that the 320 is slower than the 318 as well? Prob. heard wrong and talking out my arse though :A:

Wouldn't have a 316 or 318, BMW's are heavy cars and those engines aint enough in my eyes, sound shit as well
Decent 320 or 323 or even 325 is what you want
For that money he has you could get a decent one, but most BMW's these days have high mileage... something not to worry about if it has full service history.
The use drive chain instead on timing belts and they dont need doing untill they hit like 100000000,0000 miles or something like that

He really isnt bothered about how fast it goes. He does a lot of miles with work like so ive told him a diesel would be better but its down to what he could afford.
Leeroy this is your chance to shine pal! Haha

320 coupe should be easily found with decent mileage.
Did they do a diesel coupe in the e36 shape?

No did diesel in e46 never e36
Can get a 325 4 door but will have loads on miles on now( these are the older ones Ruddy) but like i said full service history the should be spot on 325 is a straight 6 engine, very smooth and good on fuel, with alot of torque
Could also get a 318 diesel as well, these are a little rare liek but still can get them
Can get a e46 coupe diesel but you will be looking at like 6k pls

This advert seems like a joke haha.
Read these two emails ive got from him........
Hello mate,
I am very delighted to see you're interested to buy my car.The vehicle in exellent condition and runs like perfect, It has never been involved in any kind of accident, and it has got no mechanical problems, also it has no outstanding finance as I purchased it outright.Technical inspection and emissions testing is passed and stamped as well.I have worked in UK for the last 1 year and I've purchased the car there. My company wanted me back home, so currently I'm in Italy. I've bring the car home with me. I decided that is better to sell it because it`s still registered in the UK and it`s a right-hand drive car so it`s hard for me to drive it here where all the cars are left-hand drives, and I have to pay a lot of money to register it in this country.I realize that is a cheap price for such a car but my special situation makes me do things that I wouldn't do in normal circumstances. The car have MOT and road tax until next year.
If you have other questions about the car not hesitate to contact me.
All the best
*Cue Ruddy reply asking more info, possible meet and test drive*
Hi again,
The car is curently in Italy.I would like to use a shipping company for this deal, the process is very easy and I have just bought a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee and this is why I know how it works.
This company will handle the delivery of the car and also they will handle all the registration papers. If we will use it you will have 5 days to inspect the car before you decide to buy it.
I will pay delivery! The delivery time will be around 3-4 days and the car will be delivered at your home address. In this time you will receive the tracking number of the transaction so you can use it to check the status on the company website.
Let me explain you the whole process:
First I will need your details, full name and address. As soon as I get the info from you I will take the car and go to the shipping company to transfer it in their custody. I will pay all the shipping charges. After the car is in their custody they will send you a confirmation and also payment instructions. They work as an escrow service and will hold the payment during the 5 days period for inspection. After the payment is confirmed to them, they will get the car to your home address and will also give you the documents of registration and the car will be left in your custody, in this period you can inspect the car, take it to a service for inspection and drive test it. After the 5 days period is over the shipping company will come to you and if you decided to keep the car you will transfer the documents on your name and after the car is registered on your name they will release the payment to me. If you decide not to buy the car they will get the car back and will send you a full refund of the payment.
Please e-mail me with your decision and also your full name and address!!
Thanks
Jimmy-Boy
