Anyone seen the new Fiesta?

Saw it today on the front of Autocar magazine and have to say it looks awful - why are they starting to design small cars that look like mini mpv's?:n:

It's fat, ugly, and looks like a cross between a Mazda 2 and Grande Punto. I find all the new superminis (huh... nothing super about them...) are starting to resemble little moving blobby jelly moulds. Yuck.

have to agree with evo, nothing appeals to me about the MPVs and most of the new supermini's, they are hardly small anymore and have shed loads of unneccesary weight!!!!

Yeah and Pugs arent what they used to be.... the fronts have gone all bloated with HUGE headlights.... if I wanted a new small car I would not know what to get - although the Punto arbarth looks pretty smart.
