stu-n-shell
31st August 2008, 16:10
looks good but as for the smoothed in arches i give them 6 months before your re filling cause of cracks. i looked into doing that when i fitted the vt kit to my 1.1 and was told by my old work mates. that when the car is moving there is more movement in the plastic than the metal wing so eventualy the to will split apart therfore cracking the filler.
SALTY
31st August 2008, 16:21
Looks good and fair play to all the work thats going into this project, but isnt it going to look exactly the same as guy sleemans old 106 with vt kit?

stu-n-shell :
archers will not crack its not just filler in there there bonded on then the gap between wing and body kit as been filled with adhesive then i have skimed a layer of fibreglass on the gap then added a skim of filler it shouldnt crack at all but we will c
adz21 yeah a pro is painting it
salty - its goin a different colour so wont look like the other saxo kitted 106 allso the archers are a dif curve now blended and am blendin in the mouldin on the saxo kit so should look different
