Just thought id put up some pics of my car as i havent done before. its my second saxo, i had an icelandic 2002 plate vtr before this.

my vts currently has;

piper 3.5" stainless backbox
stainless straight through centre section
bmc cda
7" motorised headunit

future plans are;

smoke front lights and fogs, doing next week hopefully
jewels at the rear or m3 style, not sure yet
dimma grill
de-wiper rear
spax 40mm ajustable suspension kit with axle adjusted to match
polish cam covers
4-1 stainless manifold
sports cat
cams, probably 708's
remap

these things may take me a while to save up for as im at uni and cash is a bit tight lol

the car was 2400, which i thought was ok, but i had to change the whole back axle as the bearings were gone soo bad it ruined the beam, it also need diska and pads all around and four new tires, but im still pleased i bought it definately no regrets

not really much to say about that car since the pics apart from i now have a stainless piper sports cat fitted which i am very pleased with, i have all the paint and primer to smoke the headlights and fogs but i have no time to do it at the moment.

i dont really have much time to update my proogress thread, this is how my car looks now

since last update i have;
-58k full replacement engine with cambelt kit and water pump
-reconditioned gearbox
-reconditioned rear axle
-geniune clutch kit
-mint 15" oz ultralegeras which are mint with toyo t1r's
-smoked fogs
-colour coded splitter
-lowered 40mm on spax and matched at the rear
-polished cam covers
-stainless decat

all work is done by me btw so cheap:y:

also the stereo has gone completely apart form the headunit

little update

my exhaust is off :(, i need the cash, uni student in third year blah blah etc

i have rubbed down and primered headlight inserts


i think im getting old. i dont seem as passionate about the vts as i used to, i do a hell of a lot of miles and im temped by a diesel (SHOCK).

hopefully ill get motivated in the summer show season
im 21 btw

i also have an original mini cooper 1275 which i have got and i will be completely giving a once over in the summer, full respray from bare shell etc. i may make a progress thread on here as its a busy forum. i also have another mini round back with 1275 under the bonnet and a may do that instead, havent decided yet lol

i am 95% sure my wheels are going to be professionally powder coated gloss black, whenever i get a day free at uni. i have loads of quotes etc, and im travelling all the way to lichfield to get it done.

sorry for the misunderstanding, i fitted a reconditioned box myself but did not rebuild it myself as that was left to the pros. the box cost me around 260quid plus vat and it drives better than any other saxo box that i have been in:y:

im want my car subtle. you should know by now that my car is always tip top in terms of keeping it clean etc lol:y:. maybe in the future i will consider something like a magnex or i could get another tip welded onto the standard pipe, im not interested in noise anymore lol

i have an intake fitted during the summer in the hotter weather so cold air can get in, however in the winter i took it off and found that it felt more responsive (the noise went up too:y:) as there is cold air in the atmosphere

in the summer i will most likely be putting the intake back on

there was a thread on here somewhere that had a vts with a bmc fitted and rolling road figure with the intake on and off, same car on the same day btw, and it actually produced a little more power without the intake. however the large fans blowing the front of the car during the rolling road at the venue may have had an impact.

car broke down yesterday:n:

i was coming off a very steep driveway and it cut out and then proceeed to cut out about 30times. so i took the fuel filter off in the rain and it had disintegrated and has resistance inside when blowing through it, the thing was only 4months old!!!!.

anyways i managed to get one which was quite difficult as i was at uni and dont know where and motorfactors are tbh, fitted a new one in the rain again on the road side again and now its fine

note: ive just spent nearly 100 quid on cleaning products;)

serviced and painted all brakes silver
deslatted and meshed front grill, chevrons painted black (got porfessionally sprayed)
painted engine bay parts
dewiper rear

as for the cleaning;

fully cleaned wheelarches (forgot to take pics)
cleaned and sealed all wheels, inside and out
washed with wash mit using two bucket method
ag tar remover
megs clay
degreased all hinges
removed underbonnet soundproofing and dgreased
degreased engine
polised manifold cover
ag srp
ag hd wax, will be putting a couple more coats on this evening

I've driven to liecester today for my driving thingy tomorrow and I was following my dad in the BMW and he hit pheasant and it spat it out of the back of hs car and hit my vts and smashed the headlight :(.

bit of a bump, no progress has been made on the vts since last update due to my mini project as some of you may know.

i have bumped my thread as car is currently for sale and i will take offers, car has been extremely well looked after, all of my mates on here will back me up on this. this car is in extremely good condition and will be sorry to see it go but i have a new love now in the shape on a mini

I have VTS wheels for sale currently but no tires, I wouldn't be fussed if these didn't come with them either, your just too far unfortunately (over 3 hrs away) don't see anyway around it either, shame really.
