i am having starting problems

i am having starting problems this last couple of days. i have a 2000 vtr and i am only after having a 1999 vtr engine put in because the other engine ciezed. the engine is only in the car 2 days and it wont start. it has been working. i started off by taking the spark plugs out because i thought they were wet but they were bone dry. my petrol guage sais i had a quarter tank but buy the off chance i put more petrol in and it started first go. now i have the car 3 quarters full and it wont start. i tink it mite be the ecu because i neva changed it. does any1 no what sort of problems i am having?

bit more info on what you started with, what you swapped to, and what you kept when you put the new engine in would help mate, also have you checked if its sparking or if fuel is getting the the engine?
