Can't tell as the exterior of the VTR & VTS is pretty much identical apart from a few badges.

VTR - 1.6 8v (single cam)

VTS - 1.6 16v (twin cam), has a few things the vtr doesnt, ABS (although some VTRs have ABS as an option but not many, more supportive seats, a passenger airbag, a (shit) alarm as standard, 16v badges on the back, and later (99 on including the last of the MK1s), have 15 inch wheels as std, electric and heated mirrors. 2001 models and onwards have front seat side airbags too.

That one you psted is a VTR. Can only tell by the numberplate though, nothing defines the VTR/S/Furio fromt he front

VTR and VTS have different wheels (14's on a VTR, 15's on a VTS) + the BHP difference and 16 valve compared to 8 valve.
